Paint Landscapes The Way You Feel Them

Abstract landscape painting with earthy tones of red, brown, and green, contrasted with patches of blue and white sky, divided vertically in the center.

When you stand in a beautiful landscape, you feel something. The light, the air, the mood of the place. This course is about learning how to get that feeling into a painting — through colour, layers, texture, and a process you can return to again and again.

What To Expect

Step into Louise's creative process — working across three surfaces with simple, accessible materials. Every step guided. No experience needed.

Meet The Artist

Louise Knowles

Her work has been shown in galleries across Australia, and her most recent series Sand and Stone — inspired by the sandstone cliffs, pools and coastline of Sydney’s Northern Beaches — captures her mastery of colour as a carrier of light and place.

She returned to painting seriously in her early 50s, and hasn’t looked back.

“I’m painting for me. I’m just so grateful to do what I love.”

Now, for the first time, she’s sharing her complete process in this step-by-step online course.

Who This Is For

Painters who want to create atmosphere and feeling — not just likeness.

Anyone who has tried to loosen up their landscape work and felt lost without a process to hold onto.

Painters ready to work more intuitively, more experimentally, and with more trust in their colour instincts.

Beginners who want to start with feeling, not formula.

Experienced painters who know something is missing — and think it might be colour.

Whatever your level, this course will change how you see — and how you paint.

Embracing Play and Experimentation

$35 value / FREE!

If you go in with a fixed outcome, you'll be tight getting there, and the painting will show it. In this module, Louise shows why play and experimentation are not optional extras but the whole point, and how to embody that.
